DAY 1

28.04.2027: Direct flight from Bucharest to Beijing The adventure begins in Bucharest, we depart from Henri Coandă Airport at 17:25 to Beijing with Air China on a direct flight! (Attention! The time may change depending on the airline).

DAY 2

29.04.2027: Landing in Beijing at 08:05 and transfer to Hotel Holiday Inn Temple of Heaven 4* /similar in Beijing. Dinner and Accommodation

DAY 3

30.04.2027: After breakfast we meet the local guide and head for a city tour. We begin our tour with Tiananmen Square, an urban square in the centre of the city. The square contains the Monument to the People's Heroes, the Great Hall of the People, the National Museum of China and Mao Zedong's Mausoleum. Outside China, the square is best known for the Tiananmen Square Protests of 1989, which ended in an armed crackdown, also known as the Tiananmen Square Massacre. We continue to the Forbidden City, the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming dynasty until the end of the Qing dynasty—the years 1420 to 1912. It served as the residence of the emperors and their families, as well as the ceremonial and political centre of the Chinese government for nearly 500 years. We go shopping at City Pearl Factory. DAY 4

01.05.2027 After breakfast we go to the Jade factory for shopping. After the Jade factory we head to the Great Wall of China at Juyong pass. The wall is a strategic construction thousands of kilometres long, with a defensive role. The wall was built to defend the borders of the Chinese empire against attacks by nomadic peoples from northern China. It is a gigantic construction considered by volume to be the largest on the globe, with a length of 21,196.18 km. We continue to Beijing Olympic Park where we will also have a stop for photos. From here we also go to a local market for shopping. Dinner. Return to Hotel Holiday Inn Temple of Heaven 4* /similar in Beijing.

DAY 5

02.05.2027: Beijing - Luoyang After breakfast we travel by high-speed train (class 2) to Luoyang We visit the White Horse Temple, a Buddhist temple in the city of Luoyang. According to tradition, this is the oldest Buddhist temple on Chinese territory. Dinner. Check In and accommodation at Hotel Luoyang Ramada 4*/similar in Luoyang.

DAY 6

03.05.2027: Luoyang - Xian After breakfast we check out and visit the Shaolin Temple, a temple over 1,500 years old, located on Songshan mountain in China, birthplace of numerous martial arts styles and schools, gathered under the name 'Shaolin Boxing'. We continue our tour with a visit to the Longmen Grottoes, a complex of Buddhist altars, statues and temples, located 12.5 km from the city of Luoyang. They are a very good example of the development of Chinese Buddhist art, which is why in 2000 they entered the UNESCO world heritage. We travel by high-speed train (class 2) to Xian. Dinner. DAY 7

04.05.2027: Xian After breakfast we go to visit the famous terracotta soldiers, a collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China. It is a form of funerary art buried together with the emperor in the years 210–209 BC, with the purpose of protecting the emperor in his afterlife. The figurines, which date approximately from the end of the third century BC, were discovered in 1974 by local farmers in Lintong, outside Xi'an. The statuettes vary in height according to their importance, the tallest being the generals. We continue with a visit to a local Acrylic Art Lacquer shop. Lacquer painting is a form of lacquer painting practised in East Asia for decorating lacquer objects and which reached Europe and the Western world both through Persia and the Middle East, and through direct contact with continental Asia. DAY 8

05.05.2027: Xian - Shanghai Breakfast We begin our programme with a visit to the Xi'an City Wall, known locally as Chengqiang, which is one of the most impressive and well-preserved ancient fortifications in China. Located in the heart of the city of Xi'an, this monumental structure not only surrounds the old centre of the city, but also preserves a rich history dating back over two millennia. We continue with the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, built in 652 by Emperor Gaozong (649-683). He appointed the monk Xuanzang as abbot of the temple and supervisor of the pagoda construction works. Its purpose was to preserve the relics and sacred writings brought by Xuanzang from India. Initially it had five storeys and 54 metres in height. After a few years, however, the building collapsed due to an earthquake. We travel by high-speed train (class 2) to Shanghai. Dinner. DAY 9

06.05.2027 After breakfast we go to the Jade Buddha Temple, a Buddhist temple in Shanghai. Built in 1882 with 2 Buddha statues brought to Shanghai from Myanmar. The temple now contains a much larger quantity of marble Buddhas, donated from Singapore. We head to Yuyuan Garden, an extensive Chinese garden located near the Temple of the God. Yuyuan Garden covers an area of 20,000 square metres, but, despite its small size for a public domain, it has a multitude of attractions. We continue our tour at the Bund, a waterfront area and a protected historic quarter in central Shanghai. We also see from the outside the Oriental Pearl Tower, a telecommunications tower in Shanghai with a height of 468 m with antenna and 342 m without antenna. Dinner. DAY 10

07.05.2027 Breakfast We go again to the Bund. We continue with the Tianzifang area, a commercial zone full of bars and restaurants. Stopping for Shopping The old centre of the city of Shanghai. We also reach Nanjing Road, a road in Shanghai, whose eastern part is the main shopping district in Shanghai. It is one of the busiest shopping streets in the world, alongside Fifth Avenue, Oxford Street, Orchard Road, Takeshita Street and the Champs-Elysées. DAY 11

DAY 12

09.05.2027 Breakfast Today we visit People's Square (Renmin Square), where we enjoy a relaxing stroll through its open spaces. We continue with Tianzifang and the former French Concession, discovering picturesque streets, art studios, craft shops, boutiques and cafés. Then we head to AP Market, where we have free time for shopping. Transfer by high-speed train to Beijing where we take the plane home.

DAY 13

10.05.2027 : Return to Bucharest We take off at 00:35 with Air China Landing in Bucharest at 06:20 at Henri Coandă Airport.

🚌 Boarding

1.Coach seats are allocated starting from the 4th row, in the order the deposit is paid. For rows 1-3 an extra fee may be paid (specific to each trip).

📍 During the trip

2.The order of the visits may be changed by the guide without affecting the structure of the programme. Sights may be replaced with similar ones for objective reasons (roads, weather, etc).
3.Entrance fees for tourist sights and optional excursions are paid in local currency to the guide and may vary by season.
4.Guiding services in museums or cities may only be provided by local guides, paid on the spot.
5.For lost/stolen luggage, documents or personal belongings, the agency is not liable. Complaints are filed personally with the competent authorities.

6.The single supplement is paid at least 7 days before departure if the agency cannot find a room partner.
7.Children get a discount only when sharing a room with 2 adults.
