About this trip

🕒 🚌Meeting at 07:30 in Bucharest, in the car park at Piața Victoriei 🚗 (📍 Parcare Piata Victoriei on Google Maps), where the Coach of Joy and the accompanying guide await you. Today we will head south of the capital, on a journey dedicated to faith, history and authentic Romanian values, where we will discover places of worship with impressive stories and monuments that keep alive the cultural heritage of these lands, whilst enjoying moments of peace and spiritual reconnection. ⛪ The first stop will be at the Church of the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel in Herăști where we will attend the Holy Liturgy. Built in 1644 by Lady Elina, wife of voivode Matei Basarab, this stone church is a valuable historic monument of national importance, keeping alive the memory of a remarkable era in our history. The church in Herăști, dedicated to the two apostles, stands right next to the famous 'Casa de Piatră' of the Năsturel brothers, another important landmark of the local heritage. 🌿⛪We continue with a visit to Mironești Monastery, an old place of worship, recently restored. We will discover the story of this heritage monument, witness to local history and spirituality, in a setting full of peace and contemplation. 🍲 Around lunchtime, we will stop in Hotarele commune, where we will enjoy a tasty home-cooked lunch. A welcome break to savour traditional dishes and discover the authentic charm of the Romanian village. ⛪ The next stop will be at Comana Monastery, founded by Vlad Țepeș in 1461, initially as a monastery-fortress. Surrounded by nature and steeped in history, the monastery will offer us the opportunity to discover an important landmark of Romanian spirituality and heritage, a place where the past and faith intertwine in a special atmosphere. 🚌 Arrival in Bucharest in the course of the evening, depending on traffic conditions.

🚌 Boarding

1.Coach seats are allocated starting from the 4th row, in the order the deposit is paid. For rows 1-3 an extra fee may be paid (specific to each trip).

🚍 Coach rules

🚭 No smoking (including e-cigarettes, vapes, IQOS) — not even with the window open
🍷 No alcohol for the whole duration of the journey
🍪 No food on the coach (seeds, crisps, etc.) — only drinks in containers with a lid are allowed
🎧 Audio only with headphones (no phone speakers)
💺 Seat belt mandatory for the whole journey

📍 During the trip

2.The order of the visits may be changed by the guide without affecting the structure of the programme. Sights may be replaced with similar ones for objective reasons (roads, weather, etc).
3.Entrance fees for tourist sights and optional excursions are paid in local currency to the guide and may vary by season.
4.Guiding services in museums or cities may only be provided by local guides, paid on the spot.
5.For lost/stolen luggage, documents or personal belongings, the agency is not liable. Complaints are filed personally with the competent authorities.

💰 Price details

6.The single supplement is paid at least 7 days before departure if the agency cannot find a room partner.
7.Children get a discount only when sharing a room with 2 adults.
8.For tourist packages and holidays in Romania we accept payment with Romanian holiday vouchers: Pluxee, Edenred and Up Romania.
