🛖 Arbanasi Village Renowned for its unique and well-preserved architecture, with houses dating from the 17th-18th centuries, built by wealthy merchants who fortified their dwellings to protect themselves from Ottoman invasions. 🧭 Veliko Tarnovo Often called the "City of Kings", it is one of the oldest towns in Bulgaria and was the capital of the Second Bulgarian Empire between the 12th and 14th centuries. The old town is a labyrinth of cobbled streets and traditional Bulgarian houses with wooden balconies and tiled roofs, offering an authentic period atmosphere.
