Itinerary

DAY 1

⛪ Cămârzani Monastery This is a nuns' monastery located in the village of Cămârzani, in the commune of Vadu Moldovei. Here a church was built in the second half of the 19th century by the boyar Mortun on his estate. In 1863, the boyar Emanoil Mortun built a parish church on his estate in the village of Cămârzani, within the manor grounds. The church built was dedicated to Saint George and was a place of worship only for the boyar family. The nuns here await us with a hot meal 🛖Museum of Folk Traditions of Bucovina The Museum of Folk Traditions of Bucovina is the only museum that reveals unsuspected secrets of the Bucovinean folk calendar, from Saint Andrew, continuing with those specific to Christmas, New Year, Epiphany, the beginnings of the agricultural, pastoral, beekeeping and fruit-growing year, the feast of the Resurrection of the Lord and Saint Dumitru, transposing that segment of spirituality defining of popular tradition. ⛪ Voroneț Monastery With the will of the Good Lord, with the prayers of St. Venerable Daniil the Hermit and through the diligence of the Pious Voivode Stephen the Great and Holy, Voroneț Monastery was raised, from 26 May to 14 September 1488, with the dedication of St. Great Martyr George. 🍽️ Accommodation and Dinner at guesthouse/hotel in Bucovina (Soup, main course, seasonal salad, dessert, drinking water, one litre of wine for 2 people, one litre of țuică for 10 people) ANY OTHER ADDITIONAL CONSUMPTION IS PAID INDIVIDUALLY!!!

DAY 2

🍽️ Breakfast ⛪ Moldovița Monastery Raised by Petru Rareș in 1532 and painted in 1537, it is a new foundation on the site - or, more precisely, near - another older, ruined one. About the date when the first building was erected we know nothing precise. However, there is more certain news related to the building of the stone monument at the beginning of the reign of Alexandru cel Bun, whose ruins can still be seen today. 🥚 Museum of Painted Eggs This museum houses an impressive collection of painted eggs, each specimen being a small work of art, made with skill and dedication. Visitors can admire the variety of patterns and colours, which reflect the different techniques and symbols specific to Romanian ethnographic regions. 🚂 Mocanița Hutulca Moldovița We travel by coach along the railway route where Mocanița Moldovița runs, to Argel, where we are greeted by locals with traditional Bucovinean dishes. On the way to Sucevița Monastery, we make a brief stop at Palma Pass or Ciumârna. ⛪ Sucevița Monastery Located in the commune of the same name, on the bank of the Sucevița stream, it was built in the last decades of the 16th century, through the financial contribution of the entire Movilă boyar family, of which Ieremia was ruler of Moldavia between 1595-1606. This monastery has an impressive history and many legends float around it, each more interesting than the last. 🏺 Black Pottery Marginea Pottery has endured in our lands since the time of the Dacians. It came to be practised intensively in the northern area of Moldavia around the 15th century, out of the need to store food. The locality of Marginea has inherited it for about 300 years. We will visit a workshop and will be able to buy souvenirs. 🍽️ Accommodation and Dinner at guesthouse/hotel in Bucovina (Soup, main course, seasonal salad, dessert, drinking water, one litre of wine for 2 people, one litre of țuică for 10 people). DAY 3

🍽️ Breakfast and check-out 🛖Ion Creangă Memorial House and Museum in Humuleşti Known for his work that enlivened the childhood of many generations, Ion Creangă remains immortal through the heroes he brought to life in his stories. The Ion Creangă memorial house in Humuleşti is a memorial museum established in the house where the Romanian storyteller Ion Creangă was born and spent his childhood. One can note the furniture, traditional objects, manuscripts, exhibits about his life and work, as well as a theme park with characters from his stories. ⛪ Agapia Monastery Agapia Monastery is one of the largest nuns' monasteries in the country and is situated in the heart of nature, with frescoes signed by Nicolae Grigorescu between 1858-1861, which give a special atmosphere to this place. ⛪ Văratec Monastery Văratec Monastery is one of the largest and most visited Orthodox monasteries in Neamț county. Situated in a special natural setting, this monastery offers a profound spiritual experience. 🚠 Ride on the cable car in Piatra Neamț (optional, depending on weather) One of the main tourist attractions of the town, offering a spectacular way to admire the mountain scenery and urban panorama. Inaugurated in 2008, the cable car starts from the town centre, near Piatra Neamț Station, and climbs up Mount Cozla, to an altitude of approximately 657 metres. 🍽️Lunch break 🚌At the end of our journey, in the course of the evening, we return to Bucharest with our souls full of the beauty and wisdom of this region laden with history and spirituality.

🚌 Boarding

1.Coach seats are allocated starting from the 4th row, in the order the deposit is paid. For rows 1-3 an extra fee may be paid (specific to each trip).

📍 During the trip

2.The order of the visits may be changed by the guide without affecting the structure of the programme. Sights may be replaced with similar ones for objective reasons (roads, weather, etc).
3.Entrance fees for tourist sights and optional excursions are paid in local currency to the guide and may vary by season.
4.Guiding services in museums or cities may only be provided by local guides, paid on the spot.
5.For lost/stolen luggage, documents or personal belongings, the agency is not liable. Complaints are filed personally with the competent authorities.

6.The single supplement is paid at least 7 days before departure if the agency cannot find a room partner.
7.Children get a discount only when sharing a room with 2 adults.
