DAY 1

📍 Meeting at 06:00 in Bucharest, in the Piata Victoriei car park, where the Autocarul Veseliei coach and the accompanying guide await you. 🛞 Mecles Mill The oldest working water mill on the Iza Valley stands at Sacel. The mill of Danila Mecles was built in 1850 by Jewish owners. A number of 16 Jews held it in ownership until Danila's grandfather, once their servant, bought it. There were many who wanted it, but they sold it only to him, because they were pleased with his work and with his honesty. 🛏️ Accommodation and dinner at Pensiunea Alexa/Bocrita

DAY 2

🍽️ Breakfast 🚂 Ride on the Mocanita steam train One of the country's most important cultural and technical treasures, the Mocanita of Viseu de Sus is the last steam forestry railway in the world. Built as a practical technical solution for hauling timber, the forestry railway still runs today, both for its original purpose and for carrying tourists. ⛪ The Saint Nicholas Wooden Church in Bogdan Voda It was raised in 1718, on the site of the old one burnt down by the Tatars in 1717, and it is representative of Maramures wooden church architecture thanks to its rounded body, raised in two steps, with a double-skirted roof supported by consoles extended in equal steps, beneath which runs a twisted rope motif in relief, encircling the outer walls of the lower step. 🍽️ Dinner with dancing and good cheer at Pensiunea Alexa/Bocrita

DAY 3

🍽️ Breakfast We all gather in the guesthouse courtyard to live an authentic Romanian tradition, in a warm atmosphere full of good cheer, for the preparation of the pig with traditional platters. Once the pig is ready, we savour together the delicious pomana porcului 🐖, while warming up with mulled tuica and mulled wine, spiced with cinnamon and cloves 🍵. To the cheerful sounds of traditional Maramures music, we let ourselves be swept into hora dances that warm the soul and bring joy. 🎶 We invite you to an authentic party 🎉 with fiddlers 🎻, dancing 💃, good cheer 😄 and traditional folk costumes 👗! Get ready to enjoy music 🎶, dances 🕺 and many other surprises 🎁! 🍽️ Festive dinner, dancing and good cheer at Pensiunea Alexa/Bocrita

DAY 4

🍽️ Breakfast 🏙️ We head home, with a short stop for a meal in Sighisoara. 🚌 Arrival in Bucharest during the evening, depending on traffic conditions.

📋 Useful details about this trip

🚌 Boarding

1.Coach seats are allocated starting from the 4th row, in the order the deposit is paid. For rows 1-3 an extra fee may be paid (specific to each trip).

🚍 Coach rules

🚭 No smoking (including e-cigarettes, vapes, IQOS) — not even with the window open
🍷 No alcohol for the whole duration of the journey
🍪 No food on the coach (seeds, crisps, etc.) — only drinks in containers with a lid are allowed
🎧 Audio only with headphones (no phone speakers)
💺 Seat belt mandatory for the whole journey

📍 During the trip

2.The order of the visits may be changed by the guide without affecting the structure of the programme. Sights may be replaced with similar ones for objective reasons (roads, weather, etc).
3.Entrance fees for tourist sights and optional excursions are paid in local currency to the guide and may vary by season.
4.Guiding services in museums or cities may only be provided by local guides, paid on the spot.
5.For lost/stolen luggage, documents or personal belongings, the agency is not liable. Complaints are filed personally with the competent authorities.

💰 Price details

6.The single supplement is paid at least 7 days before departure if the agency cannot find a room partner.
7.Children get a discount only when sharing a room with 2 adults.
8.For tourist packages and holidays in Romania we accept payment with Romanian holiday vouchers: Pluxee, Edenred and Up Romania.
