DAY 1

🛞 Mecleș Mill The oldest working water mill in Valea Izei is located in Săcel. Danila Mecleș's mill was built in 1850 by Jews. A number of 16 Jews owned it until Danila's grandfather, their servant at the time, bought it. There were many interested parties, but the Jews sold it only to him because they were satisfied with the work he had done and his honesty. 🛏️ Accommodation and dinner at Pensiunea Alexa/Bocrita

🍽️ Breakfast 🚂 Ride on the Mocănița One of the most important cultural and technical values of the country, the Mocănița from Vișeu de Sus is the last steam forestry railway in the world. Built as a favourable technical solution for transporting timber, the forestry railway operates today both for its original role and for transporting tourists. !! Mocănița ride fare during the holidays: Adult - 165 lei (includes the Mocănița ride, a hot drink and a pastry product) Pensioner / Student - 156 lei (includes the Mocănița ride, a hot drink and a pastry product) Child 3 - 18 years - 119 lei (includes the Mocănița ride, a hot drink and a pastry product) https://online.mocanita-maramures.com:8870/ 🌊 Cascada Cailor (Horses' Waterfall) The waterfall is located at an altitude of 1300 m and is formed from water that gathers from Muntele Cailor (Horses' Mountain) in a circular glacial depression, due to melting snow and frequent rains that slide down the steep slope of the Piatra Rea Nature Reserve, pouring over Podul Cailor (Horses' Bridge) from a height of approximately 90 metres in several steps with successive drops. ATTENTION!!! This objective will be undertaken between April and October. During the cold period, only if weather conditions permit. If it cannot be reached, it will be replaced with another objective. 🛏️ Accommodation and dinner at Pensiunea Alexa/Bocrita

DAY 3

🍽️ Breakfast 🐴 Horse-drawn cart ride through Ieud A traditional experience through the village of Ieud, where we will discover the beauty of the Maramureș landscapes and the charm of traditional homesteads. The cart ride through Ieud will take us along the village lanes, among traditional homesteads, wooden houses and picturesque landscapes, giving us the opportunity to experience the authentic atmosphere of the Maramureș village more closely. The route will include stops at representative places, where we will discover the history, traditions and local culture. 🪵 Master Toderău's Museum The first stop takes us into the world of traditional Maramureș crafts, where we will discover objects crafted with care and techniques preserved and passed down through generations. The museum offers an insight into the talent and skill of local craftsmen and into the traditional life of the Maramureș village. 🏡 Village Museum of Ieud The second stop will be at the Village Museum of Ieud, where we will discover the atmosphere of a Maramureș village of old. The traditional houses, homesteads and objects preserved here will help us better understand the way of life, customs and occupations of the people from this area. ⛪ Biserica din Deal (Church on the Hill) The Church on the Hill, dedicated to the Nativity of the Mother of God, is one of the representative places for the traditional heritage of the village of Ieud. The wooden church, set in a picturesque setting, preserves elements of old Maramureș architecture and offers a beautiful view over the village and its surroundings. 🙏 Monastery of Ieud The last stop will be at the Monastery of Ieud, also known as "Biserica din Ses" or "Biserica din Vale" (Church in the Valley), a special place for its peace and beauty, where we will discover the traditions and spirituality of Maramureș. 🍴 Festive Whitsun dinner 🛏️ Accommodation at Pensiunea Alexa / Bocrita

DAY 4

🍽️ Breakfast 🏙️ We head home, with a short stop for a meal in Sighișoara. 🚌 Arrival in Bucharest during the evening, depending on traffic conditions.

📋 Useful details about this trip

🚌 Boarding

1.Coach seats are allocated starting from the 4th row, in the order the deposit is paid. For rows 1-3 an extra fee may be paid (specific to each trip).

🚍 Coach rules

🚭 No smoking (including e-cigarettes, vapes, IQOS) — not even with the window open
🍷 No alcohol for the whole duration of the journey
🍪 No food on the coach (seeds, crisps, etc.) — only drinks in containers with a lid are allowed
🎧 Audio only with headphones (no phone speakers)
💺 Seat belt mandatory for the whole journey

📍 During the trip

2.The order of the visits may be changed by the guide without affecting the structure of the programme. Sights may be replaced with similar ones for objective reasons (roads, weather, etc).
3.Entrance fees for tourist sights and optional excursions are paid in local currency to the guide and may vary by season.
4.Guiding services in museums or cities may only be provided by local guides, paid on the spot.
5.For lost/stolen luggage, documents or personal belongings, the agency is not liable. Complaints are filed personally with the competent authorities.

💰 Price details

6.The single supplement is paid at least 7 days before departure if the agency cannot find a room partner.
7.Children get a discount only when sharing a room with 2 adults.
8.For tourist packages and holidays in Romania we accept payment with Romanian holiday vouchers: Pluxee, Edenred and Up Romania.
