• Slanic Moldova – We depart Saturday morning from Bucharest and arrive in this mountain town in the heart of the Nemira Mountains, renowned for its therapeutic mineral springs. We will take a walk through the resort, admire the Casino built in art nouveau style, the Central Park and the springs avenue. Did you know that the Casino in Slanic Moldova is the first casino in Romania (1894), and in Europe it ranks fifth after those in Venice, Spa, Baden-Baden and Monte Carlo? Also, specialists have compared the mineral waters here with those from Karlovy Vary, Vichy and Aix-les-Bains.
• Doll Museum – An unusual stop at Galeria Olga, a private exhibition belonging to the Nagy family. You will discover classic and modern porcelain dolls, limited-edition artistic dolls, but also large-scale characters from the Lord of the Rings series, Mother Teresa or Princess Diana.
• Saint Ana Lake – The second day, after breakfast at the hotel in Tușnad, we visit this unique lake, situated in one of the extinct volcanic craters of the Ciomatu massif, in the Mohoș nature reserve. Moreover, the most recent volcanic eruption in the Carpathians and in Eastern Europe took place here, several tens of thousands of years ago.
• Harman Fortress – The last stop takes us to the fortified evangelical church complex in Harman, built in the 13th century on the basis of an old Roman basilica. Did you know that the 56-metre bell tower was the tallest in Țara Bârsei, and the four small towers in the corners showed that the locality possessed the right to pronounce and execute the capital punishment?

Where does the coach depart from and what time should I be present?

The coach departs from the car park in Piața Victoriei, Bucharest, at 07:00 in the morning. We recommend you arrive 10-15 minutes early to meet the accompanying guide and settle in comfortably.

What type of accommodation is included in the price?

You will be accommodated for one night at Hotel Tușnad 3* or a similar hotel in the Tușnad area, with breakfast included. The rooms are equipped with all necessary facilities for a comfortable rest.

Do I have to pay separately for entrance to attractions?

Yes, entrance fees to the Doll Museum and Harman Fortress are not included in the 549 RON fare and are paid separately, on site. The accompanying guide will inform you about the exact fees.

Is lunch included in the price?

No, lunch is not included in the fare. You will have free time at your disposal in Slanic Moldova to have a meal at one of the local restaurants, and the guide can recommend pleasant places.

Is medical insurance needed for this trip?

What time do we arrive back in Bucharest?

Arrival in Bucharest is scheduled during the evening of the second day, depending on traffic conditions. As a rule, we arrive between 19:00-21:00, but we recommend you do not plan other fixed activities the same evening.
