What we visit

Our 4-day holiday in Sunny Beach offers you a perfect combination of beach relaxation and the opportunity to explore nearby cultural sites. We stay at Imperial Resort 4*, a modern complex situated just 100 metres from the Black Sea and 1 km from Nessebar. Did you know Imperial Resort is located in the southern part of Sunny Beach, offering quick access to both the beach and the old town of Nessebar?

During days 2 and 3, you have free time and the opportunity to visit on your own the Citadel of Nessebar, one of the oldest citadels in Europe, built on the ruins of the Thracian settlement of Mesambria, where Greek and Roman remains can be found. Did you know Nessebar is over 3,000 years old and was originally a Thracian settlement called Menebria? Moreover, the town was among the first in the world to mint its own coins, and according to local legend, the old town had 42 churches, of which 7 are visible today – impressive for a town of just 2,000 inhabitants!

At Sunny Beach, you enjoy the wide beach with fine sand, the clubs and restaurants in the resort, and the vibrant atmosphere of Bulgaria's largest tourist resort. Did you know Sunny Beach was created in 1958 as a weekend destination for Bulgarian families? The first registered tourist was František Silvester from Ostrava, Czechia, on 8 June 1959, and in 1995, Sunny Beach became the first Bulgarian resort to receive the Blue Flag ecological award.

Optionally, you can take cruises on the Black Sea or relax by the pool and enjoy the hotel facilities. Transport to Nessebar and guide are not included – you get there by local transport or by the small boats that connect Sunny Beach and Nessebar.

What does the Ultra All Inclusive regime mean?

Ultra All Inclusive means that all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and drinks are included in the price throughout your stay at Imperial Resort 4*. You do not need to worry about additional expenses for meals – everything is included.

Can I get to Nessebar on my own?

Yes, transport and guide for the visit to Nessebar are not included in the package, but you can get there very easily by local transport or by the small boats that connect Sunny Beach and Nessebar. The distance is just 1 km.

Are transfers from other cities available?

Yes, we offer transfers from Ploiești (15 EUR), Pitești (35 EUR), Slatina (40 EUR), Craiova and Balș (45 EUR). These tariffs are valid for groups of minimum 6 people. For smaller groups, the tariff is recalculated.

What documents are needed to travel to Bulgaria?

For travel to Bulgaria you need an identity card or valid passport. Bulgaria is a member of the European Union, so the formalities are simplified for Romanian citizens.

Can I take cruises on the Black Sea?

Yes, there is the possibility of optional cruises on the Black Sea, but these are not included in the package price and are paid separately, on-site or through the accompanying guide.

What time do we arrive back in Bucharest?

We leave Sunny Beach after lunch on the fourth day and arrive in Bucharest during the evening, depending on traffic and customs formalities. The exact arrival time depends on road conditions.
